The Bumblies were small creatures from outer space who slept on 'Professor' Bentine's ceiling, and were visiting earth to learn about earthling children!
The Bumblies had numbers rather than names.
The series was originally filmed in Bentine's attic and garage, but ended up proving costly to make and almost brought him to bankruptcy.
