Trivia

In the episode 'Windmills', the tune that the Windmill money box plays is the theme to the show. However, when Mr Sprott tests his new money box by putting in a coin, the theme to 'Postman Pat' plays. Both shows were produced by Ivor Wood.
Over the series, Bertha makes windmill money boxes, garden gnomes, beach balls, 365 springs, plastic kangeroos, cuckoo clocks, Jack-in-the-Boxes, jigsaw puzzles and watering cans.
